Abstract
This essay discusses the history of Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal is considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is located in the city of Agra, India. Taj Mahal is well renowned for its amazingly symmetrical architecture, which makes it one of the few beautiful historical artifacts. The author of the essay discusses how Taj Mahal is considered as one of the most amazing gifts presented to Mumtaz Mahal who was the wife of Emperor Shahjahan.

Taj Mahal is located in the city of northern India, Agra, in the state of Utter Pradesh near the shores of river Yamuna. In 1631, Shahjahan went on an expedition where his wife Mumtaz Mahal accompanied him. However, she died at the age of 39 while giving birth in Burhanpur. The sudden death of Shahjehan’s wife left him derailed. For almost two years there were no festivals and celebrations in the palace…….
