1. Why do you want to be a nurse?
Nursing is a very different field from any other career available today. Not only does nursing require long hours and hard work, it also needs in my opinion, a need to serve and help people. Because the nurses interact, not only with the patients, they also have dealings with doctors as well as other nurses and other hospital staff and patient’s family. However, the fundamental goal of a nurse is to care for the well being of people under his or her care. Nursing has always interested me and it carries with it a lot of responsibility, it took a lot of self-searching before I finally decided on nursing as my career with becoming an educator of nurses as my specific goal. Nursing in my view is the most fulfilling of all careers as it gives one an opportunity to do something for the community, it allows people to interact and communicate with people at a very personal level.
