“Terrorism is an anxiety-inspiring method of repeated violent action, employed by clandestine individual groups or state actors, for idiosyncratic, criminal or political reasons, a whereby-in contrast to assassination-the direct targets of violence is not the main targets.” (Schmid, and Jongman 28)
