Winston Churchill is one of the most prominent and admired statesmen of the twentieth-century. His historical standing today mainly rests on the role he contributed as Great Britain’s prime minister during the Second World War. Churchill’s wartime speeches are openly celebrated for the way they stirred the people of Britain and the United States to oppose aggression and fight on for total win. To achieve this victory, he presented strategic direction to the incredible war effort made by Britain and its allies. After the war ended, Churchill exhibited his great gifts as a writer by producing a monumental history, The Second World War, on this desperate worldwide struggle to defeat Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, and imperial Japan.

The U.S. president is required by the nation’s Constitution to address Congress from time to time on the state of the union. That Constitutional requirement, if it were to be read in the absence of any knowledge of actual State of the Union speeches, might sound as if it were an admonition to the president to present a factual account of the current problems, and advantages, faced by the United States as the president is enjoined “from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union”. However, George W. Bush, like his predecessors, in his 2003 State of the Union Address, has focused on the second clauses of this sentence to “recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient” (http://www.pbs.org/newshour/extra/teachers/lessonplans/politics/stateoftheunion/). He has used this annual message as a chance o argue for a number of policy positions that he would like to see brought about in the coming year.
If they were each to be enacted, they would cumulatively have a substantial effect on all Americans, and perhaps especially on young Americans, who will have the longest period of time to be effected by Bush’s policies and their consequences. What exactly these consequences will be is a matter of debate, however, as well as belief.

Edna St. Vincent’s Poem a short one is how she sees the world on the brink of war, ready for the mayhem that is the hallmark of war. She has nothing but a sense of deep loathing for the human race which loves to reproduce, creating a large number of individuals which crowd together intrudes on each other’s life, enjoying themselves as they entertain each other only to build more and more destructive devices. To her it s an unending cycle as leaders make speeches motivating the people to join up, have parades to celebrate the soldiers who died and also to those who survived making them heroes. this bring out of bonds and encouragement again leads to bombing humans and using explosives, which lead to ending lives as flesh of soldiers rots. However according to her when these soldiers and civilians die, human also go through the process of grief accepting their fate and some become heroes, ready to it all over again.
