Introduction
Our world is a blend of different cultures and races having distinct lifestyles, rituals, and values. These qualities make human societies different from other animals. Some of the people on our planet have lived in form of tribes. Some travel and are called nomads others live in one place. A major part of the cultures of various tribes is the custom of marriage in some cases it is formalized while in others it is an informal affair. This paper discusses the marriage customs of three tribes and tries to evaluate their values. The three tribes are the Aztecs of North America, the Basseri living in Middle East and the !Kung people of the Kalahari desert in southern Africa.
Aztecs
As in the majority of cultures, a significant aspect of Aztec life was marriage. A young man was likely to marry at age 20, and a young woman at 16, the unions usually arranged by the groom’s family (Bray 55.) The Aztec experienced polygamy, although usually only upper-class men wed more than one wife, as he was anticipated to support all of them. Secondary wives were given their own quarters, servants, and nursemaids (Bray 68). Infidelity, however, was not regard lightly; the Aztec punished adultery with execution, either by stoning or strangulation (Bray 69).

Anthropology and archeology reveal a very different picture of the past civilizations that were at their peak– the Mesoamerican civilization of the north and Central America, and the Pre-contact Andean Civilization, centered in Peru. This paper looks at both the civilizations.
Central and southern Mexico, Guatemala, and other parts of Central America, following long periods of establishment of farming villages, numerous early states arose. Extraordinary achievements were the establishment of a calendar system and complex math, construction of pyramidal temples and sculpted stone monuments, hieroglyphic writing systems, and ritual sacrifice of blood, the earliest team sports.
Mayan culture grew along the Gulf Coast of Mexico; the expression is used for the art style and associated early culture that is sometimes seen as ancestral to all the later great Mesoamerican states. Their major characteristics are the huge carved basalt stone heads, stylistic attributes that highlight jaguar faces and jade carvings, and earthen pyramid complexes, as seen at San Lorenzo. Olmec sites date to between 1500 B.C. and A.D.1, and there is debate over whether they were multifaceted chiefly societies or the first true Mesoamerican civilization.
An early Mesoamerican civilization that lasted from about A.D. 250-900 in the Yucatan area of Mexico and the lowlands of Guatemala and Belize. Agricultural production to sustain great populations of large Maya centers was made possible through construction of gigantic raised field complexes in the lowlands, which archaeologists often could not see without sophisticated remote sensing methods.

Queries that cover the beginning, meaning, and changes of distinctively human aspects impel anthropologists into the farthest places of the world, and even into our own environs. The variations and resemblance between people disclose the numerous ways that humans react to their social and natural surroundings. An anthropologist are concerned with these reactions, not just for their uniqueness, but also most significantly as a method to appreciate what bonds, segregates, what makes them happy, and informs people, and how they respond to life’s most weighty and most ordinary questions.
Anthropology is all about the lives of human society. It is holistic in two ways: it is about all humans at all times, and with all aspects of human culture. Core of anthropology is the idea of culture, and the notion that human nature is culture; that our race has developed a general capability to know the world symbolically, this symbolic knowledge is to teach and learn such symbols as whole, and to change the world and ourselves learning from such symbols.
Cultural anthropology is also, called socio-cultural anthropology, it is one of four generally identified fields of anthropology, the holistic study of humanity. Holistic approach of viewing things is taking things as a whole which gives significant meaning an entity
It is partly a reaction against prior Western debates based on contrasting relationship between “culture” and “nature,” according to which some people lived in a “state of nature.” Anthropologists contend that culture is “human nature,” and that all people have an ability to classify their encounters in life, codify these differentiations through symbolic use of language or gestures, and teach such thoughts to others.
When you look at society and its different facets you start questioning how it has evolved and what factors are influencing the people and their relationships and what is how much of this surrounding and development is impacting them.

Over the years the extinction of dinosaurs is a mystery still to be resolved by scientists. To date, human beings have different theories and perspectives about dinosaur extinction.
